NEW studio CD recorded!

EKNMO plays music by Kroner Lauritsen Gerhardt
Hammond organ player Kjeld Lauritsen soloist, composer

Hans Nielsen of FOCUS Records offered the EKNMO 2 days in the studio at no charge as a support and protest against the governmental economical set-back suffered late last year. So we jumped at the oppertunity to record yet another ground-breaking project which was premiered on December 8, 2007 at PORTALEN GREVE: EKNMO with hammond organ player Kjeld Lauritsen as soloist in a program of Lauritsen-originals arranged by Erling Kroner: Blues for Mr T, Club Blues / Like Bob, Gekko Can Dance, Jazzgirls, Living Room Condition and Grand Danois arranged by Niels Gerhardt. To make this listening experience complete, Kroner arranged his Siluetas and Candombe Domingus, two of Lauritsen's favorite Kroner-tunes, for the occasion and also brought in a spankin' new arrangement of his Dark Sequel as a feature for the band and its soloists as well as a feature for Pernille Bévort's haunting tenor, One for the Book, a composition by Jeff Czerbinski arranged by Kroner, both of these without Lauritsen. Niels Gerhardt brought in brand new arrangements of his Waiting for the Waitress and Mr. P.J. both featuring Lauritsen's Hammond Organ. The EKNMO's soloists are featured throughout in this hard-swingnin' soon-to-be-released CD.
A CD focussing on JAZZ & BLUES and much, much more.
