Accordionist Kurt Larsen and trombonist Erling Kroner with new, rising bass star Eva Malling present their new trio with Erling Kroner in a new role, doubling as a tango singer in a program of tangos, milongas, folklore and originals.
Kurt Larsen got the idea of turning Kroner into a part-time tango singer at the celebration-concert in Copenhagen of Argentine writer Jorge Luís Borges' 100 years birthday in 1999. It took him 10 years to finally convince Erling to do it, and the setting of this new trio to bring it about.
